In the world of Gospel music we are mostly familiar with quartets and quintets singing four part harmony or the full choir recordings which can be found adequately readily. The Master's Men have created a unique niche. In the world of barbershop you have the quartets and so the barbershop chorus. Now we have a wonderful men's Gospel chorus, which like their barbershop counterparts, sing in the four role harmonies of the traditional smaller group only with eighteen voices rather than the 'quartet's' four or five. Their inspiration to song has been fostered past the fact that all these men live in primal North Carolina, a fundamental repository of old mountain gospel, former Southern gospel, and old traditional hymns. Included are invitee appearances by Rumors, Rhythmix, Kindred Spirits, The Gina Williams Trio and The Texas Girl Choir. Ambassadors of Harmony : Sounds of the Seasons
The Ambassadors of Harmony is a chorus committed to both musical and performing excellence. In July of 2009, under the direction of Jim Henry, they won the International Chorus Title held in Anaheim California, achieving the highest score ever recorded. This was their second championship win, reclaiming the title they had previously earned in 2004. At present, they are pleased to share with you a video presentation of Sounds of the Season 2009. The Sounds of the Season vacation concerts have become a tradition for many of the more than 8,000 patrons who attend at least one of its five performances in St. Louis, MO each yr.
